Professor Zhenxing Qian, Ph.D. advisor, received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of a Key Laboratory under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
His research interests include multimedia information security and artificial intelligence applications and security. He has presided over more than 30 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Key Program) and National Key R&D Program projects. He has published over 200 academic papers in top international journals and conferences such as IEEE TPAMI, TIFS, TMM, TDSC, TIP, TCSVT, TCYB, TASLP, TCC, TNSE; CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, IJCAI, NeurIPS, and ACM MM. He serves as an editorial board member for several prestigious journals including IEEE TCYB, IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TASLP, Signal Processing, JVCI, and the Journal of Image and Graphics (China), and as an area chair for major conferences such as ACM MM and IEEE ICME. He has also authored several books, including Introduction to Multimedia Security, A Concise Overview of Multimedia and AI Security, A Computer Professor’s Plain Talk on Artificial Intelligence, A Computer Professor Talks to Children about Art and AI, and A Computer Professor Tells Children about History.
His research achievements have been applied in multiple institutions and have earned him several awards, including the First Prize of the Shanghai Natural Science Award, the Second Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and a Wenjin Book Award Nomination.
